WongPartnership’s Business Development (“BD”) team plays an integral role in the firm’s success. The team supports the partnership by providing a comprehensive range of BD activities and works alongside marketing, events, media and communications team members in our broader Marketing & Client Services (MCS) team to deliver outstanding results.


We are also open to consider more experienced candidates for an Assistant Manager/Manager position.


Your responsibilities:


As a BD Executive/Senior Executive, you will report to and support the Director of BD and work closely with the firm's stakeholders. You will help to drive, implement and oversee BD activities including, but not limited to:


·       Managing the entire bid process from identifying opportunities to preparing proposals and subsequent tracking and analysis of results

·       Developing and managing BD initiatives to help drive revenue growth in key target areas

·       Working on client development initiatives and assisting with other BD or firm-wide projects

·       Supporting on business planning and the execution of these plans

·       Championing the optimal use of our CRM database

·       Helping the partnership to navigate trends and new ways of developing the business

·       Working alongside the Marketing & Communications team on BD-led events

·       Assistant Manager/Manager position will encompass supervisory responsibilities and management of BD

·       projects


Your background:


We welcome applications from people with:


  • At least 2 years of experience in a business development or account management role, preferably from the professional services, consulting or financial services industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, law or a related discipline
  • Proposal writing and tender management experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for details
  •  Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work effectively under time pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Keen business acumen and strong analytical skills
  • Flexible and able to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • High competency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
